Comal County offices will close November 11

The county calendar lists an all-day holiday closure Wednesday. Plan in-person county errands and confirm arrangements with the office you need.

Comal County’s official calendar lists Wednesday, November 11, 2026 as an all-day county-office holiday closure. Residents who need to visit a county office should plan around that date and confirm arrangements with the department handling their business.

What the calendar confirms

The event is titled “Comal County Holiday - County Offices Closed” and gives November 11 as the date with “All Day” as the time. The entry identifies New Braunfels, Texas, but does not give an appointment location or department-by-department exceptions. Use your own office or appointment confirmation for the correct destination.

Before planning an errand

If your visit involves an appointment, documents or a payment, check the relevant office’s published instructions before making a trip. Ask how the holiday affects the service you need. The calendar entry does not establish that a deadline is extended or that an online transaction will be processed during the closure.

County notice, separate service decisions

This is a county-office notice. It does not set closure schedules for city offices, schools, banks or private businesses. It also should not be read as a statement that every public service or emergency function stops for the day. Those organizations and services provide their own operating information.

The county’s main published contact number is 830-221-1100. Its official website includes a contact directory for finding the relevant department. Check the county calendar again before traveling in case the notice changes.
